After a successful convention in 2013 in the four star Hilton Hotel at Milton Keynes there was general agreement that we should meet again in 2014 at the Hilton. 2013 Report»
Another enjoyable weekend with many of the usual members attending together with several European members and guests. We welcomed three International Vice Presidents; George Stam, Gerda Marshall and the current holder of the position, Jean Marie Martin-Hattemberg. Laurel and Laurel 
Bailey represented the USA.
Two guest speakers told us about the reintroduction of perfume brands - Bob Keable of the Westex Group has resurrected Aqua Manda in the UK and Simon and Amanda Brooke described the latest developments in the world wide Grossmith story.
Jeffrey Sanfilippo couldn't attend this year but he agreed to appear at the meeting via Skype - even though it was only 6am in Chicago! - and he updated the group about IPBA initiatives.
Saturday ended with a hot fork buffet followed by a mini auction of items donated by members and the drawing of the delegates special raffle prize, which this year was a book 'Isabey' donated by Jean Marie.
Phyllis Dohanian was unable to attend this year, possibly the first conversion she has missed. We did the next best thing though and we again used Skype during the 'Show and Tell' session and Phyllis told the group about several of her treasured bottles.
The show room on Sunday was quite well attended and this year we allowed delegates to also have a table in the room, so there were many buying opportunities.
